I have a cold. This is not fun! Luckily the worst of it only really lasted two days (unluckily one of those days was a Sunday), but now my nose is running like there's no tomorrow. Buy stock in Kleenex, everyone. My nose hurts.

I'm 18 weeks pregnant today. This isn't a milestone, per se, but it feels like a lot. I'm almost halfway there! According to various websites, the baby can hear now. One site said that the baby will be startled if it hears a loud noise. Get used to it now, kid! If it's anything like me, it will have an overactive startle reflex and spend half its time being scared by such horrors as someone walking by, or worse, something I thought I saw out of the corner of my eye but isn't really there.

I can feel him or her moving around in there almost every day now. It's such a strange feeling. It will be fun when those pokes can be felt from the outside, cause then other people will be able to enjoy it too.
