A few weeks ago Derrick and I went on a short trip to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. It was a completely unplanned trip. In fact, we intended to go to Myrtle Beach, but Hurricane Gabrielle (not a joke, an actual hurricane) sort of put a stop to those plans. After spending a day trying to think of somewhere else we could go, we settled on the Poconos, hit the internet, found a resort, and hopped in the car.
Our spontaneity paid off, the resort was awesome and relaxing and fun and we had a great time. It was a picturesque little place, right on a lake, with deer everywhere. The weather was a little chilly, but most of the activities were indoors so it didn't make a difference. We spent the week playing ping pong, shuffleboard, mini putt, ice skating, arcade games, bicycling, the list goes on and on. The meals were tasty (and included in the resort price!), the room was comfortable and included a jacuzzi, and I can't think of a better way to spend a week.

Riding that bike was so difficult! Seriously we made it about 50 metres up the road and then had to go back for regular bikes.

I wanted to put a comment on the last post but there was no option to. I'll leave it here. What is the girth of your bump? I know you don't want those "twin" comments but a woman I work with is wondering if you maybe have triplets coming? We're all amazed at 3 1/2 months, you are showing so much and you only have gained in your tummy. I want your pregnancy!

Yeah I close the comments on an entry after 7 days because of all the junk comments that I was getting.
Anyway... I haven't measured it in a while, but I'm guessing it is about 35 inches now. I started out at 29, the last time I measured was about a month ago and it was 33 1/2 then. The midwife has assured me that there is one single baby in there and that I'm measuring right on schedule! :)

That's great! I was just kidding really though. It's probably since you are such a skinny person to begin with that you'll carry all of the baby out front.

Eh...I am realy skinny and I was almost that big at that point with the last pregnancy. But I am sure at 14 weeks you have already had one ultrasound so you know its not twins. RIGHT???

I haven't had an ultrasound yet (it's next week), but I've heard the (one) heartbeat and I'm measuring properly so I'm not that worried about it!
